Grades 11 & 12 Enjoy a Lunch Celebration
On Friday, February 2nd, the AP & IB students of FDIS were treated to a free lunch by the school administration. This was a reward for all the hard work they have put in the previous months and to show how proud we are of their accomplishments.
FDFZ was kind enough to provide chicken wings and french fries. Additionally, Assistant Director, Ms. Laura Madsen, ordered McDonald’s cheeseburgers to be shared while the Dean of Student Affairs on 384, yours truly, bought additional potato chips and cookies for everyone.
The event itself was a wonderful time. Everyone has been pushing through the cold winter weeks since Christmas and needed something to break the stress. The lunch allowed the students to take a time-out from their busy days and enjoy their time together.
It should also be noted that our 10th grade students also work hard and are deserving of their own, special event in the future. Mr. Russell Greene even promised them one when we return after the holiday. More high school only events will be planned in the coming months to reward all of our students to ensure they enjoy their time here at FDIS.
